We're excited to say that Acorn Tiny Homes homes are able to be certified! Our facility and your home is inspected and certified by Intertek and to be compliant with CSA Z240 MH (Modular Home) standards. That means that your design has been inspected and stamped by an engineer, that your home has been inspected in our facility throughout its construction, and it is certified to be compliant with local and national building codes, as well as CSA standards!

Depending on your needs we can do on grid, off grid, or a hybrid of the two! Our preference is a hybrid option as it gives you the flexibility to park at a variety of locations. The hybrid option is most easily achieved by installing a composting or incinerating toilet. Besides allowing for off grid living, this is a good idea regardless as the average annual consumption per person is 103 000L flushed. Given how precious this resource is, flushing it away just seems a little unnecessary.
